HISTORY
The Three Ships Whisky 10-Year-Old Single Malt distilled in 2007 is the third to be released with a vintage statement, and follows the successful release of the 2006 vintage. South Africa’s first single malt was launched by Three Ships Whisky back in 2003, and was succeeded by a collector’s tin series over a three-year period from 2010 to 2012.
CRAFTING AND MATURATION
This elegant single malt was distilled in 2007 by our Master Distiller, Andy Watts, and matured for 10 years in a combination of older and younger American Oak barrels to complement the delicate flavours of the spirit. Un-chillfiltered, natural colour and bottled at a strength of 46.3%, the whisky is presented in its most natural form.
