Mostly rye grain and a touch of barley, this is a spicy summer rye and while standard ryes are peppery, brash or slightly abrasive, this nontraditional rye is subtle. Non-chillfiltered for the finest flavour and aroma, and proofed with Widow Jane’s ‘hard-yet-sweet’ mineral water from the legendary Rosendale Mines of New York. The pure, limestone mineral content of the water coats the palate for a long, rich finish.

Nose:  Clover honey, orange peel, tea.
Palate:  Brown sugar, white pepper, rye grain.
Finish:  Dried peach, almond biscuit.
