From the same starting point as their Oak Rye, Widow Jane wanted to extend the flavour profile of their rye distillate into a new profile. This soothing and fruity rye builds on the round flavour of the American oak barrel with an apple-wood stave finish that imparts genuine bright apple notes and subtle sweetness. Apple-wood staves deliver notes of applewood smoke and fruit, as well as spice-forward crispness indicative of a rye. Flavours of blood orange and apple blossom.
